Illustrated throughout with wonderful b&w pencil sketches – unusually, even the comic-strips have been drawn this way – most of which are full-page. There is one excellent colour frontis depicting the Twins petting roe deer by a lake. Illustrated b&w pastedowns and endpapers.
The annual is in very good condition. The pages are clean, untanned, and free from foxing. The only marks present are on the quiz and puzzle pages. The boards are also clean and undamaged. Binding is very tight.
A lovely copy.
