Enchanting full-colour illustrations on each facing page. Pastedowns and endpapers are illustrated with characters from the other Tales.
Matt salmon coloured boards with red text to front and spine. Triangular shaped tipped-in illustration on front cover is in superb condition. Upper corners lightly bumped; lower and spine appear to be straight. Unclipped (3/6 NET) jacket is lightly foxed, but remains complete and tear-free. Apart from one or two light stains, the book is in excellent internal condition. Binding is tight.
No year of publication stated, but the '461' on the verso indicates this copy was printed in April 1961.
