Description:
Rare promotional booklet from Atora featuring recipes for all kinds of dishes (sweet as well as
savoury!) using the famous shredded suet as a base. Apparently, Atora even had medicinal uses:
"ATORA is definitely beneficial in all cases of catarrh, chest or bronchial troubles, and
should be taken regularly in hot milk as indicated."
Illustrated throughout with full-colour photographs (including a double-spread depicting an Atora-based Christmas pudding!), and charming 1960s cartoons in, both, full-colour and two-tone monochrome.
Covers show slight signs of handling, with a ½ cm (0.2″) piece coming away at the spine and a small stain on the rear cover (see image). Printed on high-quality, glossy paper. Excellent unmarked, uncreased condition inside.
