Illustrated throughout with delightful b&w quarter page illustrations – of which roughly half have been skilfully coloured in by the previous owner.

Matt pictorial boards are worn and lightly soiled. Spine missing. Owner's name inscribed in black ink on verso. Pages have largely resisted tanning, and are generally clean. Despite the book wanting its spine, all pages remain well bound and have no intention of coming loose. Previous owner has partially numbered the pages in pencil.

No year of publication given, but assumed to date from c.1936.
