Description: "Golden Path, Witchland-on-Brendan—that sounds a lovely address for a holiday, and so it proves to be for Ruth and Kim and Angela (always known as Poodle, because of her curly hair), and the twins, Jumbo and Judy—all the more so as it had seemed that they were not to have a holiday at all this year. And though things don't go smoothly all the time (by no means!), when they learnt that Golden Path is not to be a place only for holidays, life seems to have given them everything they could possibly have wished for. Golden Path Adventure is that rare thing, a story of adventure without villainy."
Illustrated with numerous, wonderful b&w quarter-page line drawings. Also contains a b&w frontispiece.
Blue cloth boards with black text on spine are slightly skewed. Corners and tail of spine ever so slightly bumped. Jacket has been price-clipped by the publisher and a revised price sticker of 5/- affixed on the front flap. Minor nicks and tears along extremities. Spine faded from exposure to sunlight. Minor staining on rear. Lovely ex-libris belonging to one Eric R. Hatchman affixed to flyleaf. Lightly tanned pages are printed on cartridge paper. Apart from p. 124, which has a negligible 'blot' of foxing, all pages are completely free from foxing or other marking. Binding is sound.
