Description: Told in verse, is the charming story of Ginger the dog, sent away from the country to live in London. Thoroughly miserable with his new life, the mischievous mutt yearns to return home…

Wonderful, full-page colour illustrations on every facing page. Pastedowns and endpapers depict a blue monochrome sketch of Ginger barking at the Quackies, whilst Tommy looks on from the other side of the pond.

Matt pictorial boards worn and soiled. Front cover dented at bottom and right edges. Corners and spine rubbed and bumped; tail of latter badly so. Pages have light water stains, but – apart from the previous owner's name inscribed in red pen on the title page – are otherwise unmarked, extremely tightly bound, and in very good overall condition.

Rare, early-'80s reprint.

Measures 17.5 cm × 11.5 cm (7″ × 4.6″). 12mo. 51 pp.
