"This is a book which will be of value to all children learning to write, and to all adults who realise the importance of good handwriting. It will be welcomed by teachers for class use, by students and by parents wishing to help their children."
Plenty of techniques for joined and unjoined calligraphy, beautifully presented in full-page black and red illustrations.
As is the case with most matt board Ladybirds, the corners have been bumped. There is also some minor rubbing to the spine. The front and rear boards have been subjected to some minor rubbing as well and there are some marks on the rear (though no scribbles or inscriptions). Internally, the book is in very good condition: no foxing or other markings. Indeed, the book would be in excellent condition were it not for the previous owner's name and address printed in black ink on the fep and the remains of a label in the lower right hand corner of the fep. There is also an inventory number printed in red ballpoint pen in the upper right corner, suggesting the book may have been used in the classroom.
Measures 17.5 cm × 11.5 cm (7″ × 4.6″). 12mo. 52 pp.
