Description: "A colourful collection of eight traditional tales from the West Indies told by an expert storyteller. Do you know How the Stares Came into the Sky? Or how Anansi was caught out in his greed over The Magic Pot? There are some popular favourites here, as well as some less well known; stories of mischief, and good outwitting evil; and some spine- shivering ghost stories, like Put Mi' Back Where Yo' Find Mi'. They are complemented by the delicate and atmospheric illustrations of Avril Turner."
Glazed pictorial boards have some minor wear along their edges. Spine and corners bumped. Holder for lending ticket affixed to front pastedown alongside a lending record on the fep. Pages are lightly creased from handling – one or two have some negligible staining – but otherwise remain crisp, bright, and unmarked. Binding is sound. Nice condition for a former library book fast approaching its 25th birthday.
Measures 25.5 cm × 19 cm (10.2″ × 7.5″). 4to. 64 pp.
