Description: Rare annual consisting of 13 short stories presented in a mix of comic strip and 'traditional' formats. The majority are in b&w, with a select few in colour. Other content include: 2 pages' worth of puzzles (all unsolved), and a dot-to-dot (faintly attempted in pencil); a double-spread colour game called Molly's Maze; several general interest articles – The 6 Wives of Henry VIII, Language of the Flowers, Know Your Stars, &c. – plus two full-page colour photographs of Gary Glitter and David Essex. Also includes a full-colour feature about Stacy Dorning – the star of ITV's Black Beauty serial at the time – and ideas for making simple jewellery accessories.
Glazed pictorial covers. Minor creasing to rear. Spine ends bumped and worn; corners only lightly so. Pages are lightly tanned, and are completely free from foxing. There is a brown, circular stain (appears to be chocolate) about the same diameter as an old (pre-1992) 10 pence coin on pp. 14-15. Page 60 is torn, and could possibly be repaired with a little skill and patience. Otherwise, all pages are in excellent condition, and very tightly bound. Unclipped (retains original price of 95p).
Measures 27 cm × 19 cm (10.8″ × 7.5″). 4to. 142 pp.
