Description: Scarce book featuring the adventures of the three eponymous characters. The plot is divided into three separate stories – The Runaway Calf; A Lovely Surprise; Three Cheers for Camping, and are interspersed with two poems: Teddy's Beanstalk (a poem about nursery rhymes and fairy tales); and Teddy's Funny Sums, which features the extremely controversial Ten Little Niggers.
Delightful, full-colour illustrations throughout – the vast majority of which are full-page.
Glazed pictorial boards are lightly rubbed along their extremities. Corners rubbed, though largely straight. Spine appears to be straight, but is worn with some loss to the blue covering in the centre. Neat gift inscription in blue ballpoint on title page. Pages are lightly and sporadically foxed with a blotch or two, yet have resisted tanning. Stitched binding has become slightly loose, but all pages remain firmly in place.
No year of publication stated. The gift inscription is dated 1964.
Measures 27.5 cm × 21 cm (11″ × 8.4″). Large 4to. Unpaginated.
