Description: "This book tells the story of St. Paul—of his childhood in Tarsus, his persecution of the Christians, his conversion to Christianity and his journeys taking the news of Jesus Christ to other lands."
Evocative, full-page colour illustrations grace each facing page. Pastedowns and endpapers contain b&w maps depicting the route of each of Paul's journeys.
Were it not for one or two negligible stains on the front (refer to image), plus some equally minor scratches on the rear (visible only under direct light), the matt pictorial boards would be as new. Spine and upper corners are slightly bumped; lower are straight. Immaculate internal condition: pages are crisp, bright, unmarked, and completely free from foxing and tanning. Super-tight binding.
A lovely collectors' copy of a genuine first edition: The story of St. Paul is the last title listed. Original price of 2′6 NET printed on rear board. Tally number 240.
