Copiously illustrated with excellent b&w line drawings, plus 4 superb colour plates.
Meadow green (highly appropriate!) cloth boards with dark brown embossed text and decorations to front and spine. Lower corners negligibly bumped; upper and spine are straight. Unclipped (6/- net) jacket is lightly scuffed and creased along its extremities (with a closed tear here and there), and has a minor stain on the front (refer to image). Previous owner's surname very neatly and discretely printed in blue ink on half-title. The pages are in excellent condition: clear of foxing, unmarked, and with only the lightest of tanning. The plates are as new.
