Illustrated throughout with Oakley's inimitable full-page colour paintings.

Glazed pictorial boards have some negligible scratches and indentations to the front and rear. Spine and corners bumped and rubbed – minor damage to ends of the former (refer to image). Pages are printed on glossy paper, and are therefore free from tanning. A few are lightly creased from handling, but – apart from some foxing on the final page – in very good overall condition. Small adhesive label on fep, plus a further one for Westminster Abbey Bookshop on the rear pastedown.
