Deep red cloth boards with gilt text on spine. The jacket has only the lightest of scratches on the front and a tiny loss at the head of the spine. Internally, the book is as new. Unusually for a former school library book, there aren't any of the usual stamps or other paraphernalia. Instead there is a label with a barcode neatly stuck over the book's original barcode on the rear.
