A magical collection of 7 well-loved fairy tales, enchantingly illustrated.
Illustrations on every page – full-page on almost every other page.
Pictorial boards have light edgewear. Corners are rubbed, but not bumped. The spine has taken the most battering over the past 120 years, and is exposed on the rear and partially at the front (refer to image). Having said that, the book is not falling apart and the binding remains surprisingly tight. Pages are lightly tanned and have very sporadic foxing. Previous owner's name, plus date of acquisition (1898) printed neatly in black ink on the ffep.
