Glazed pictorial boards repeat jacket design. Spine bumped and slightly creased; corners straight. Price-clipped jacket has a minor stain on its edge, but is in otherwise excellent condition. Neatly written gift inscription (dated September 2003) in blue ink. The previous owner's aunt and uncle went to great lengths to personalise the book for their niece: the word 'guy' has been crossed out on one page and replaced with 'gal'. A plaster/band-aid has been stuck to rfep and the word "OUCH" inscribed next to it. Overleaf a smiling sun has been drawn in the same blue ink. Modifications aside, the book is as new: pages are crisp, bright, unmarked and very tightly bound. Measures 28.5 cm × 21 cm (11.4″ × 8.4″). Oversize 4to. Unpaginated Price: |
