Description: When you knock someone flying with a bicycle and, far from resenting it, that someone actually insists on paying for repairs, it could seem suspicious. Particularly if he's been hanging around the bank all morning and drops what might be an automatic pistol from his pocket.
Peter Scott had always wanted to try his hand at detection. Until now, the chance had never come his way, but…
Naturally he's hot on the trail; dragging his unwilling brother Steve after him.

Contains 6 excellent full-page b&w illustrations (including a frontispiece).

Red cloth boards with black embossed text on front and spine. Also has a black embossed illustration of the Panther Library logo. One corner bumped. Jacket is unclipped (publisher's revised price of 3/- has been stuck over the original 2/6) and is in relatively good condition. Edges are scuffed; negligible loss and a closed tear at the head and tail of spine, respectively. Only major flaw is a triangular loss on the rear measuring approx. 1½ cm × 4½ cm. Pages are lightly tanned, and have a hint of foxing on their tips. Otherwise unmarked and tightly bound.

Measures: 19 cm × 13 cm (7.6″ × 5.2″). 8vo. 119 pp.
