Each edition is 20 pp. long, except for Saturday's which is only 16 pp. This makes for a total of (16 × 5) + 16 = 96 pp. Highlights include full-page photographs of the Royal Family, plus a plethora of vintage ads for such diverse products as the Ford Zephyr 6 motor-car and OXO stock cubes. Also includes several vintage comic strips (Pop, Blondie, Harry) and crosswords – all of which are unsolved.
A fascinating window into life in Britain during the Jet Age.
Illustrated throughout with high-quality b&w photographs – including full-page portraits of the Royal Family – plus line-drawings and comic strips.
Spine frayed with loss at head and tail. First few pages lightly dog-eared in lower-right corner. Pages lightly tanned, but completely devoid of foxing or any other marking. One page has a small, closed-tear (approx. 3 cm) running horizontally from its outer edge. Good binding with no loose leaves.
A very rare survivor.
