Contains 4 stunning colour plates (including a frontis), plus many excellent b&w illustrations. Endpapers and pastedowns illustrated in white and green monochrome. Jacket unclipped (bears original price of 7/6). Very light foxing on front (refer to image) plus some insignificant staining along spine. Light wear and rubbing along extremities. Textured green 'patterned' boards with black embossed text are lightly worn along the edges. Light foxing to endpapers; some slight soiling on the rear of one plate, otherwise all pages in very good, unmarked condition. Hint of tanning in the gutter, but all pages are completely free from foxing. Lovely copy of a rare, undated first edition. Measures 17.5 cm × 11.5 cm (7″ × 4.6″). 12mo. 192 pp. (SOLD) |
