Description: The third book in the series follows the adventures of the Twins as they visit their Aunt Sarah's farm in picturesque Meadow Brook.

The only illustrations present are that on the dust jacket; a b&w frontispiece in which the Twins and the townsfolk are observing a parachuter who appears to have ejected from a hot air balloon; and another illustration at the very end of the book depicting an epic snowball fight. The endpapers and pastedowns are illustrated with a b&w pattern of miscellaneous, holiday-related objects (e.g. beach balls, windmills, circus tents, &c.).

Overall condition of the book is very good. The jacket has been laminated and reinforced with paper by the previous owner, but has been price-clipped and doesn't bear its original price of 5´-. Its only caveat is a crease running vertically at the rear. Pages are in excellent condition: clean and free from any foxing or markings. There is, however, some discolouration to the endpapers where contact has been made with the jacket flaps. Tight binding.

Rare to find with a jacket this good, but price has been reduced on account of price-clipping.

Measures 19.5 cm × 13 cm (7.8″ × 5.2″). 8vo. 183 pp.

Price: £38.00 £30.00
