Description: Contains 8 short stories with b&w illustrations. Colour frontis depicts a schoolgirl swimming, whilst her friends look on, and a teacher calling to her through a megaphone.

Good copy with only a minor (5 cm/2″) crack on the front hinge and some foxing to the front and rear endpapers. No date of publication given, but an inscription in ink is dated "Xmas 1947". Minor scuffing to cover edges (visible on scan). Spine and corners are bumped.
