Description: A lovely collection of picture stories and comic strips featuring Animaland's most famous resident and all his chums. Although not marketed as such, the book follows the form of an annual, with many games, puzzles, and optical illusions accompanying the stories.
Illustrated throughout with a mix of delightful – and often humorous – full-colour and three-tone drawings and paintings. Pastedowns and endpapers feature a full-size colour illustration of Ginger Nutt leading his friends in a procession along a snowy woodland path.
Pictorial boards with sky blue cloth spine. Corners rubbed and bumped. Spine creased, bumped, and lightly worn. Front cover has some minor rubbing along its rightmost edge, plus a small crease. Internally, the book is in excellent condition for its age. Pages are crisp, bright, unmarked, and free from foxing. There is just a hint of tanning around the edges. A handful of pages have negligible dog-ears in their lower-corners. None of the puzzles have been solved.
Undated first edition.
Measures 26 cm × 20 cm (10.4″ × 8″). 4to. 125 pp.
