Description:
Wonderfully nostalgic 1980s primary school textbook!
Contains many illustrations (some of which are full-page), all of which ooze nostalgia: a BR ticket from Surbiton to Walton-on-Thames; a cassette album of Gladys Knight & The Pips; Kit Kat bars from when they were still manufactured by Rowntree; and a Ford Cortina are just a handful of the '80s delights on offer! Considering its previous life in the classroom, the book is in surprisingly good condition. All pages are clean, bright, and uncreased. Though, for some reason, the final few pages haven't fared so well, and have slight creasing. The only other caveats are some light pencil marks on certain pages, a blue ink smudge on page 6., and pp. 63-66 have become slightly loose at the bottom. Incredibly, none of the exercises have been completed! School stamp present in 3 places: title page; page 17; inside rear cover. Also has a neat inscription in top-left corner of title page reading "Nov '84". Very rare to find a copy from this year. Measures 24 cm × 19 cm (9.6″ × 7.6″). 8vo. 72 pp. (SOLD) |
