Book Condition: Near Excellent
Jacket Condition: N/A
Description: An extremely scarce and unusual primary school textbook designed for teaching children about basic shapes. There is no dialogue as such, other than each character pointing towards an object and saying its shape. Even the speech bubble corresponds to the shape, so where a person says 'triangle', the speech bubble is triangular. An interesting technique has been applied to the illustrations: most pages have a section which has been cut out, thus enabling a circle on one page to be used on another.
Nostalgic, full-page colour illustrations throughout.
'Textured' covers are lightly tanned. Partial remains of library label and some school inventory inscriptions in felt-tip and ballpoint on inside front cover. Otherwise all pages are in pristine condition.
Remarkable condition for a 35 year old schoolbook.
Measures 21 cm × 19.5 cm (8.4″ × 7.8″). 8vo. Unpaginated.
