[It] takes a afresh look at the workings and failings of the human body. Step-by-step illustrations explain the principles of first aid and exercising plus a questionnaire on emotions. [Also] includes advice on nutrition, maps of the body, a height/weight chart [the 1970s prototype of the BMI!], a book list and glossary."
Laminated pictorial covers are nicely preserved, although there is some negligible soiling/ discolouration on the rear. Discolouration (with some slight damage) on the title page from where the lending record once resided. Discretely/neatly applied library stamps on one page. The diagram of the skeleton has been labelled using black ballpoint, and the questionnaire has been completed using black ink. p. 13 has been partially torn (can be repaired), and some random marks have been made with the same pen on a few pages. Other than that, all pages are in very good condition: bright, smooth to the touch, virtually free from tanning and foxing, and soundly bound.
