Description: This rare 'repackaged' edition of What Can You See Around the World? invites young readers to explore the four corners of the globe through vivid illustrations.
The preceding pages feature illustrations of people, animals, places and other objects commonly associated with a particular country, whilst overleaf children are encouraged to find them on the picture.
A word of warning: the book uses the derogatory term "Chinaman" to describe a Chinese native. Those of Congolese descent may also take offence to having a Pygmy shown as being characteristic of their country.

Grundy's trademark bright, bold, and highly colourful geometric double-spread illustrations bring the book to life.

Glazed pictorial boards. Spine and corners lightly bumped. Negligible wear to covers; overall condition is excellent. A very neat gift inscription has been made in black ballpoint on the ownership panel. Otherwise the book is effectively as new. The crisp, bright pages are tightly bound and free from all defect.

Measures 29.5 cm × 23 cm (11.8″ × 9.2″). Oversize 4to. Unpaginated.
