Pictorial cloth boards. Spine ends bumped; upper corners lightly so. Front and rear endpapers have a few specks of foxing – also some negligible soiling to front pastedown. Otherwise all pages are in excellent, unmarked condition, with not a jot of foxing or even so much as a hint of tanning or other discolouration. Having said that, several pages towards the end are dog-eared in their lower corners, whilst pp. 486-490 have some negligible foxing at the foot.
