Description: "Soon after Alice in Wonderland was published Lewis Carroll was already planning a sequel to be made up from the many stories he told to Alice Liddell and her sisters during that famous picnic on the Thames at Godstow, near Oxford. And just as 'Alice's' adventure stories enthralled the children all those years ago—they still do today."
Illustrated throughout with Sir John Tenniel's original engravings.
'Glossy' pictorial covers are in very good overall condition, with only negligible wear to the extremities. Despite having been printed on cheap paper, the pages have managed to resist foxing, and are only lightly tanned. Binding is very tight.
A very nice copy of the rare Dolphin edition, which contains both the Easter Greeting letter and the seldom seen poem, Christmas Greetings From a Fairy Child.
Measures 17.5 cm × 11 cm (7″ × 4.4″). 12mo. 140 pp.
