In true Ladybird fashion, there are stunning full-page colour illustrations on every facing page. The pastedowns and endpapers feature a blue-monochrome map depicting the air route from London to Montréal.
Buff-coloured matt boards feature a blue-monochrome illustration of lumberjacks floating on logs. Spine ends are lightly bumped; corners effectively straight. Unclipped (2′6 NET) jacket is slightly scuffed along its extremities, with some rubbing and a small closed-tear at the head of the spine, but remains complete and in excellent condition for its age. The book itself is in immaculate condition: the pages are crisp, bright, unmarked, and completely free from foxing or tanning.
