Description: "The Saint takes a holiday…in Paris: and falls upon a curious murder…in Amsterdam: and hoists a crook with his own petard…by the Rhine: and deals out justice to a swindler…in the Tyrol: and surprises a rich American…at Lucerne: and is involved in a murder…in Juan-les-Pins: and loses an opportunity…in Rome: and falls prey to terrorists."

Each story is headed with a humorous b&w illustration of The Saint stick figure in native dress for the region it is set in.

Blue cloth boards with black text and illustration to spine. Spine and corners appear straight. Unclipped (6s net) pictorial dust jacket is worn and nicked around its extremities, and would be complete were it not for a minor 4 cm × ½cm loss along the upper edge at the rear. Apart from a few negligible specks to the leaf tips, the pages are in excellent overall condition: unmarked, and with not so much as a ghost of tanning. Binding is sound.

Measures 18.5 cm × 12 cm (7.4″ × 4.8″). 12mo. 192 pp.
