Description: When three little ships sailed from the Spanish town of Palos in 1492, they changed the course of history. This is the story of the man who commanded them, and of the most momentous voyage ever made by man.

Beautiful, evocative full-page colour illustrations on every other page. Illustrated pastedowns depict Columbus' outward and return journeys on a two-tone monochrome map.

Considering its previous life in a primary school library, the book is in remarkably good condition. Only the lower corners of the boards have been bumped, whilst the boards themselves are clean and unmarked. An unused ILEA lending record is affixed to the title page, whilst the holder (complete with ticket) are attached to the verso. The pages are very tightly bound and would be in perfect condition were it not for a small crease in the lower corner of one page and another crease on the fep. School stamp present on fep and again on rear pastedown. The book is in library binding.

Measures 17.5 cm × 11.5 cm (7″ × 4.6″). 12mo. 51 pp.
